Buccinator : A muscle of the cheek; -- so called from its use in blowing wind instruments.
Buccinoid : Resembling the genus Buccinum, or pertaining to the Buccinidae, a family of marine univalve shells. See Whelk, and Prosobranchiata.
Buccinum : A genus of large univalve mollusks abundant in the arctic seas. It includes the common whelk (B. undatum).
